Blended Reality

Following the success of the our work with the Yale Center for Collaborative Arts and Media, the Yale Blended Reality research group approached us about creating a style and site that would help communicate the innovative, emerging reserach it was conducting in virtual and mixed reality media. In leading the design for this project I created a bold and engaging visual system for the website to reflect the experimental and imagenative work done by the reserach group. The style and interactions throughout the site reinforce the layered and multidimensional work. I designed and developed the home page creating a interactive lockup with the group's name which immediately presented vistors with a playful element that gave them a feel for the work and space. Similarly, I designed the structre and primary content to be focused, simple to navigate, and easy to read. This project was completed at HvAD.

In addition to the site design, I created extenstive documentation for the site's developer. These included everything from style to layout and interaction. This gallery captures a small selection of these guides.
