About

I am a designer focused on creating products which are user-centered, engaging, and effective. I'm deeply interested in how systems are built and, even more so, how people interact with them.

My background is a mix of creative, analytical, and technical skills. I studied design at Parsons the New School for Design and then complemented that with a degree in computer science, earning a Master of Computer and Information Technology from the University of Pennsylvania.

Prior to becoming a designer, I worked in financial operations and graduated summa cum laude from Truman State University with a BS in economics, and a BA in psychology. This blend of backgrounds helps me create thoughtful designs that are based in a curiousity about both systems and people.

Besides the obligatory mention of loving coffee, I also like tea, comedy shows, and documentaries.
